This post is in partnership with FTD Flowers. All thoughts and opinions are my own. All graphics were created by them for this blog post.
For me, the tablescape design was the easiest part of planning. I had a vision for exactly what I wanted almost right away. I knew I was going for a rustic, feminine feel with ample flower arrangements, lace and wooden details. I also have always been a gold person, so I incorporated that into the dishes, glasses and silverware.
I also knew from day one, how I would name my tables. I work well under a theme, so I was happy that my wedding at camp would be ABOUT camp. Therefore, they were all named as “Cabin 1, Cabin 2, etc.” Easy peasy lemon squeezey.
I get that it’s not that simple for everyone else in the world. You all are probably sane individuals that are starting your planning AFTER your engagement not years in advance of getting that ring. That’s why I partnered with FTD Flowers to break it down for you and to share some great ideas for your table numbers.
As always, my advice for you is to make it personal. Any personal details that you can include help make your big day feel more like your fiancé and you and less like a cookie-cutter wedding. If you’re adventurers, label the numbers the countries you’ve been to or hope to go to one day. If you’re readers, label them your favorite pieces of literature. You can also use imagery to label your tables. There are no rules!
Things you can do instead of table numbers:
- Cities/countries
- Photos
- Names
- Symbols
- Book or movie titles
All you need to point you in the right direction for this post is the vibe of your wedding. Is it a fancy, formal affair or a down-home barn wedding? Start with those classic adjectives you’ve been using since day one then search those + “table numbers” on Pinterest or take a look at my “Table Numbers” board to get more inspiration.
From there, you can buy or make, and I’ve got both options for you here to jumpstart that!
