Bachelorette parties are just on the mind right now, because it’s been about two years since I’ve been on one, and I’m itching to hang with the girls again.
I know there are like 1000000 traditions and expectations for weddings and the events leading up to them, and I know all brides are different and not all want or need a bachelorette, let alone matching shirts. But I think they’re funny and make great photos SO here we go:
Classy bachelorette shirts:
Stick with classic “bride” and “bride tribe” shirts or simple designs if you’re not into standing out or are feeling a little too calm for what can become a cray tradition. Customizing shirts to say whatever feels right to you can also be a good option.
Funny bachelorette shirts:
If you and your girls don’t mind people on the street getting a kick out of your shirts and possibly taking secret snapchats, funny shirts are the way to go. There are so many good ones, but I think my favorite I found was the “she’s not a regular bride” tee. Check that out below.
Location-based bachelorette shirts:
Headed to Nola, Nashville, Palm Springs, etc.? Put it on your shirts! My favorite thing about adding the location is that years down the road you’ll have that memento of a place you traveled AND the bachelorette party memories.
TV show & movie bachelorette shirts:
Is the bride a Potterhead or have you all watched “The Office” 300000 times together? That’s a perfect starting point for some fun shirts that feel personal to the bride.
Other tips for bachelorette shirts:
- Your local print shop. My friend designed the bachelorette party shirts we had and my uncle’s print shop fulfilled the order. I think that’s a great option for a more customized option (without a major price tag) and for shopping local.
- DIY your own. I love the idea of using a jean jacket or a (faux) leather jacket instead of a shirt, if you go to a cooler location. You can also use a coverup for beach bach’s or a baseball cap. I’ve included some options below, but feel free to buy decals and make your own, if you’re crafty.
- They don’t have to be specifically bachelorette. My MOH was contemplating having everyone wear those silly cover ups with abs and a perfect bod on it (see below), and I thought that was amazing. That’s a super fun way to be “matching” and clearly a bachelorette party without being specifically spelling it out.
- Also, you totally don’t have to do specifically bachelorette and could just match in color or shade, that way you can rewear what you buy instead of likely never using it again.
