As you all have seen recently, I am pretty into bachelorette parties… as the non-bride, it’s just been so fun to spend the year on girls’ trips and loving on some of my favorite brides-to-be. I take bachelorette decor pretty seriously and almost always offer to help decorate. For my sweet cousin’s bachelorette we had a pretty loose theme. She had some decor lying around she wanted to use that set the color scheme and then we just went with a a few… ahem… phallic pieces. Both because duh that’s just bachelorette tradition AND because the groom’s name is Richard so you can see how the shirts came about.
Bachelorette party decor is really more about photo ops and fun backdrops to the party that’s reallyyyy happening in that room. There’s no need to spend a ton of money which is why I love when I can support small businesses on Etsy to make magic for these events. I’ve listed where I got my goodies + some extra ideas below each item.
P.S. If you’re in Florida, my uncle owns The Shop, which does a lot of screen printing, custom embroidery, etc. so he’s a great resource for a lot of custom orders, including bachelorette tees/tanks. That’s where we got these fun ones from.

1. Photo booth props
I mean duh. You’ll want a “before” and “after” sign plus lots of other props for people to pose with while everyone’s hanging around the room. I love a photo booth because it helps the room spread out instead of just hanging by the bar. People can get their drink and have some sort of activity to do while they wait for the alcohol to kick in 😉

2. Photo booth backdrop
Okay, so I actually meant to use a gold backdrop, it just didn’t quite get there in time, BUT I’ll show it off in my Instagram so make sure to check that out under the “Blog Posts” highlight reel, because it’s really pretty in gold. We ended up going with a little pink streamer backdrop which was cheap and super cute with the garland!

3. Garland
I love love garland. It’s just a simple way to make a huge difference in the room. Our main set up was this food table so some colorful garland + a “Miss to Mrs.” garland quickly made it more of a show-stopping corner. As you can see in the image above, I also used the “let’s party, bitches” garland for the photo booth backdrop.

4. Festive tattoos
I love using things that the attendees can take home or keep as decor. I used these festive tattoos as confetti and a pop of color on an otherwise hard-to-decorate spot, the TV stand. Once the guests got there they quickly snatched them up and wore them for the night. It’s a fun way to add to the cohesiveness of the group without going full-out with t-shirts, if you don’t want to be quite that matchy-matchy.

5. Bridal sash
She can’t get free drinks and special treatment if they don’t know she’s the bride… I love bride sashes because (if they’re good, like this one) they’re comfortable, pretty and easy to move in. This bridal babe looked and felt great in her sash and wore it all night long!
Purchase this sash:
6. Shot glasses
I assume that bachelorettes sans alcohol exist, but honestly I’ve never been on one so fun shot glasses are on my must-have list. I love being able to offer special glasses (like these glittery, gold, glass ones) for the bridesmaids and bride and then have plastic cups for everyone else and for easy accessibility. They’re a fun favor, because they fit in most going out bags, so usually people can actually remember to leave with them!

7. Confetti
It’s all in the details when you’re making a room appear more festive. I love to sprinkle relevant confetti on the food table, bar or wherever there’s a boring surface that needs a little pop. You can go classy with engagement rings or raunchy with this silly sperm confetti or mix both, like we did! Whatever the bride wants, she gets.

8. Food & drinks (but make it cute)
I’m a firm believer that you should always feed your people if you’re going to make them also take shots. Chips + dip, sandwiches, sweets, whatever it takes. Just lay some stuff out there and decorate with a table cloth, confetti, cute jars to hold things, whatever feels right.
